Work Dynamics

**What this job involves**:
The PDS business in Singapore provides a wide spectrum of services from project management, design, construction and technical advisory to occupier and investor clients, working across diverse asset classes including office, logistics & industrial, retail, hotel, data centre and multi-family.

This role reports to the Head of the Singapore Project & Development Services (PDS) business and is responsible for the design team within the PDS Singapore business. You will be part of the PDS Singapore senior team and work closely with other service/sector leads, interacting across the different business lines within JLL on projects and pursuits.

As part of the regional PDS Design network, you will be collaborating frequently with the design team leaders in other geos across APAC and particularly with design teams in other JLL offices in the Southeast Asia hub to support the development and improvement of design capabilities, staff and technical expertise and to harmonise design standards across the region.

Leadership and management
As a senior member of the PDS Singapore business and leader of the design team, you will oversee all design activities and be responsible for all design staff under your charge. You will oversee all aspects of internal systems, processes and tools as it relates to design and be responsible for all design team members and make sure that everyone has the resources and knowledge needed to succeed.

Being on top of creative design
Creativity is at the core of this role. As the creative design influencer in Singapore, you will steer the team to develop creative concepts, designs and strategies that add value and edge to the projects, all the while continually creating, evolving and developing JLL PDS’s design standards. You will mentor, guide and develop the design team to maintain a cutting edge in innovation and design, differentiate JLL’s concept, design standard and service from competitors.

Project Delivery
The pursuit of new project opportunities, sales conversion and subsequent project implementation is a fundamental cycle within the business and you will play a pivotal role in this. Where design is to be provided as a service and/or differentiator, you will take a lead role and oversee the creation of the design, preparing the pitch deck, presenting the design to the clients offering initial consultation and advice until the successful conversion of the pursuit. You will oversee the delivery of projects from a design perspective to ensure that project objectives are met, design quality and procedures achieved, project timelines & budgets adhered to and client relationships maintained.
