**Senior/Analytics Solutions Manager**:

You will be a key member of Munich Re’s consulting unit in Singapore, comprising of energetic and expert actuaries, data scientists and product developers who are pushing the boundaries of (re)insurance. In addition you will work closely with our local and regional team of client managers, underwriters, catastrophe modellers, engineers and cyber experts.

Your job
- You will be managing the end-to-end development of analytics solutions to our reinsurance clients and partners. This means understanding the business needs, data availability, preparing data pipelines, developing and deploying models, and ensuring that your solutions add value to business.
- Your analytics solutions will cover the insurance value chain such as product development, pricing and claims management.
- Analytics, digital, technology and innovation will feature prominently in your solutions developed for our clients.
- You will need to understand our client’s business needs and the range of analytics solutions appropriate for our clients.
- You will also work closely with our reinsurance teams (including underwriting and client management) to identify client needs, formulate ideas and deliver solutions.
- You will cover non-life markets across Southeast Asia, India, South Korea and Japan. A high energy level is required.

**Profile**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Statistics or a relevant financial or quantitative discipline in a leading university.
- More than five years experience in a data-related role. Non-life (re)insurance experience in Asia markets will be a plus.
- Experience in working across geographies and an understanding of various market environments.
- Well versed in programming languages such as Python, R, Pandas and big data technologies and platforms such as DataBricks and Hadoop.
- Experience of having worked on cloud platforms (in particular Microsoft Azure), advanced SQL, RESTful APIs and microservices, or otherwise willing to learn and upskill rapidly.
- Experience in advanced data analytics techniques such as XGBoost, random forests and neural networks.
- Committed, motivated, willing to learn new tools and technologies, and be willing to step outside their comfort zone.
