**- **System Management: Install, configure, and maintain Redhat Linux operating systems and servers. Ensure systems are up to date with the latest patches and updates.**
- **Upgrade Planning: Develop comprehensive plans for upgrading Red Hat Linux systems, including assessing current environments, determining upgrade paths, and identifying potential risks and mitigation strategies.**
- **Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance to ensure efficient operations. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.**
- **Security: Implement and manage security measures to protect systems and data. This includes managing firewalls, configuring security policies, and monitoring system access.**
- **Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain a robust backup and recovery strategy. Perform regular backups and test recoveries to ensure data integrity.**
- **Network Services: Manage and configure network services related to Unix systems, such as SSH, SFTP, and DNS.**
- **Scripting and Automation: Write scripts (shell, python, ansible etc.) to automate routine system administration tasks, improving efficiency and reducing manual intervention.**
- **Troubleshooting: Serve as a key point of contact for system-related issues. Diagnose and troubleshoot Unix system problems, working to resolve issues in a timely manner.**
- **Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.**
- **Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the IT team on projects and initiatives. Provide support and guidance to other team members as needed.**:
