Roles & Responsibilities
- Hands on experience in Linux System administration (RedHat 6 and 7) including network and SAN configuration, OS upgrades, Patch installation
- Hands on experience on layered disk management products - VXVM/VXFS/LVM
- Hands on experience in configuration and troubleshooting with high Availability management products HACMP (AIX) & VCS, CVM/CFS (Linux)
- Hands-on experience on Linux Performance monitoring and Tuning.
- Knowledge of security, scheduler, backup, performance monitor product like Powerbroker, VERITAS NetBackup, Autosys, ITM, Perform/BMC.
- Knowledge on AIX and Solaris administration, Linux VMWare VM is preferred
- Hands on experience in planning and execution for migrating/relocating servers within and across Data Centers, Hands on/knowledge of server migration tools like plate spin
- Ability to design and implement automated test.
- Focused on configuration governance on a wide scale environment.
- Be proficient in creating readable documentation
- Have an understanding of mass storage SAN/NAS solutions
- Provide expert support, analysis, and research into exceptionally complex
- Willing to do 24/7 Support
