Megawatts Engineering Services Pte Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Cost Engineer to join our team in the Pioneer West Region. As a Project Cost Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our solar, electric vehicle (EV) and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects, ensuring their successful delivery and profitability.
- Develop and maintain accurate project budgets, forecasts, and cost estimates for solar, EV, and BESS projects
- Monitor and control project costs, identifying variances and implementing appropriate corrective actions
- Prepare detailed cost reports and analyses, providing insights and recommendations to project managers and stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize project costs and identify potential savings opportunities
- Assist in the preparation of tender submissions and contract negotiations
- Provide support in the implementation of cost control systems and processes
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in project cost management

**Job Requirements**
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (power/clean energy)
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Cost Engineer or in a similar role within the power generation, energy, or infrastructure industries
- Proven track record in successfully managing project budgets and cost control
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in project management and cost control
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in the power generation and energy sectors
