Cost Engineer Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Cost Engineer to develop cost estimates across the project lifecycle. This includes estimating costs at gates, corporate estimates for tenders, and work change requests.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive cost plans and estimates.
  • Create preliminary cost estimates for scope options.
  • Analyze probabilistic cost risk to estimate contingency.
  • Maintain detailed records of cost estimates and supporting documents.
  • Evaluate cost estimates of technical deviation requests and contractor claims.
  • Design customized cost breakdown structures for tenders and work change requests.
  • Participate in technical and commercial review sessions to finalize cost estimates.
  • Provide cost information and variance analysis for senior management reviews.
  • Support contract engineers in tender document development and bid evaluation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in an engineering discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in cost engineering with 5 years of hands-on experience in cost estimation.
  • Proficient in cost estimation, analysis, monitoring, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with contracting strategies, tendering processes, and QHSE international standards.
