My client is a leading global actuarial consulting firm that offers specialized expertise in strategy, operations, risk management, and organizational transformation. The firm works with top-tier clients across Asia Pacific, including insurance companies, reinsurance firms, investment banks, and regulators.
They are seeking a Manager to join the Actuarial team based in Singapore. In this role, you will have a significant influence on the strategic direction of the practice and will work closely with teams across Asia Pacific and beyond. You will support projects that span insurance M&A, financial reporting, capital markets, pricing assumptions, and actuarial modeling.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead and support actuarial projects across a diverse client portfolio, including top-tier insurance and reinsurance firms.
- Deliver financial projections, product development, and pricing assumption analyses.
- Develop client proposals and presentations, contributing to business development efforts.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- At least 7 years of actuarial experience and above
- Expertise in the life insurance market, including knowledge of Singapore’s RBC2, IFRS-17, and embedded value reporting.
- Hands-on experience with IFRS-17 implementations in Southeast Asia is preferred.
