**Position Summary**:
This is a Buyer role leading or supporting packaging materials procurement, with some amount of transactional duties

Sourcing, negotiation, supplier and internal relationship management

Conduct price reviews and negotiate with the printers, corrugators / convertors, plastic film suppliers, stickers, tapes, and etc. Mainly Singapore with some overseas suppliers

**Responsibilities**:
Analytical skills, quantitative analysis, negotiate the deals, market analysis & report, “should cost” model (what should items be priced), conduct sourcing events

Direct procurement role, works closely with supply planning, pack-to-ship and product development teams

Process Master Data Workflows, Set-up source and price into system, ensure system info records are accurately maintained for Planner/Buyers to log orders

Manage procurement performance metrics - Cost savings, Free cash flow, Cost Avoidance, etc

**What we are looking for**:
Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience in Buyer role.

Negotiation skills and handle deals

Facilitate and collaborate with stakeholders across company and ensure sourcing strategies are well executed

Supplier scorecard and supplier relationship management

Self-initiative (projects, value added)

Experience and skillsets to do the job - matured individual, initiative with mínimal supervision.

Good to have SAP and Ariba a plus.

Adequate oral and written communication skills with ability to present ideas in business-friendly language

**Preferred**:
Preferably someone who has past packaging experience, understand the commodity, handle direct materials (Paper, wood, cards, plastic, PET, blisters)

**Procurement skills / tools**: 7 steps sourcing, business object tools (Ariba), Power BI
