As a Senior UI/Visual designer, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, working to design and build beautiful, memorable, user-friendly interfaces and interactions across touchpoints.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Understanding and analysing problems through research activities (workshops, interviews, data etc)
- Rapidly prototype and develop core UX/UI assets and documentation including design systems
- Developing art direction and visual design of digital product experiences
- Articulating and explaining the rationale behind the work
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to ensure design outcomes translate to impactful production deliverables
- Conducting design tests with users to refine and iterate design recommendations
- Support in building a team of passionate, purposeful designers and a culture of integrity

You are:

- Passionate about design, and making an impact
- Able to understand and empathise with users - be it clients, end customers, employees or the community for which we design for
- Able to identify opportunities for change, to reduce inefficiencies and improve experiences; to drive behaviour
- Able to imagine and conceptualise new services, prototypes and experiences
- Effective communicator and an emphatic listener
- Hands on, with a strong working knowledge of design tools - Figma, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Axure, Sketch, Invision
- Have a tertiary qualification in a design discipline like digital product design, user experience, graphic design or similar
- Have an interest to specialise in a discipline of design (digital design, interaction design, etc)
- Have a minimum 5 years experience working in digital product design teams
- Have banking or finance industry experience
