In addition to this, you will represent Heinemann in the most professional manner across internal, and external stakeholders managing the on-going maintenance of vendor relationships while building a stable Beauty Team. **Purchasing Manager, Beauty**

Your new job includes
- lead negotiations with Brands and align their expectations with the Asia Pacific Regional Purchasing strategy set by Heinemann to ensure that we continue to be a stable and reliable Brand partner, while also ensuring that we achieve the most competitive and favourable terms and conditions.
- build and influence a positive and fruitful partnership with Brands to support our customers’ preferences, needs and requirements through our local Retail and Distribution entities and partners.
- own category performance, identify and analyse trends, including competitors’ analyses and industry’s latest news, to ensure that strategies and plans implemented are relevant and appropriate to the Asia Pacific market, and implement changes as and when necessary.
- define and execute merchandise strategies to meet the Company’s financial targets and productivity metrics which includes performance, sales, inventory, receipt, and margin goals.
- support the business in identifying new opportunities within the region, including renewing existing agreements, providing technical expertise, and leveraging industry experience for the business.
- maintain and build strong working relationships across departments and with GH to lead company initiatives from the Purchasing perspective to foster a collaborative working environment and lead by example.
- lead, inspire and motivate team members to achieve set objectives and drive positive engagement, resulting in building team members’ capability for growth and development within the category.

What you should bring along
- a Degree in Business, or any related discipline with at least eight years of practical experience in a Purchasing function preferably within the Retail industry and/or within the Perfumes and Cosmetics category.
- proficiency in using SAP system and Microsoft Office such as Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook, Visio and Teams.
- strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills with proven ability to sustain long-term relationships.
- excellent business and financial acumen resulting in an organised day-to-day management of the team, and external stakeholders.
- a pronounced can-do attitude, complemented by the capability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- a strong and reliable leader with the ability to mentor and develop Team Members.
