[What you will be working on]

In this role, you will:

- Nurture identified Team SG athletes into champions by implementing Sport Physiology support, interventions and innovations as part of Team SG athletes’ training and competition strategies to enhance their chances of delivering breakthrough performances.
- Educate stakeholders (internal and external) on leading edge Sport Physiology so that they become enablers.
- Provide evidence-based, quality-assured, best-practice support that is sport/athlete-specific and performance-focused, both locally and overseas, to address the needs identified by/with coaches and athletes
- Collaborate with coaches in devising, monitoring and refining periodised training plans to peak at major competitons
- Propose and lead R&D projects as Primary Investigator that serve to enhance medal-winning opportunities and build capability
- Establish R&D roadmaps with identified sports, focused on strategic priorities that will enhance medal-winning opportunities
- Devise and provide education resources on Sport Physiology to stakeholders in the sport ecosystem
- Engage in professional development to enhance both technical and inter-personal skills

[What we are looking for]

We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active.
- Background in Sport Physiology, with a postgraduate in Sport Physiology.
- Certifications in First aid CPR AED; CITI or equivalent for R&D; ISAK L1
- Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills, negotiation and consultation skills, open and dedicated to engaging in respectful and effective relationship building with stakeholders from diverse sports and backgrounds.
- Demonstrate the ability to build rapport with athletes and coaches and have them engage in scientific support
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
