Minimum qualifications:

- 15 years of experience in Business Development.
- Experience in product business development, working with product teams and partners to craft first-in-kind agreement structures from scratch.
- Experience with partner management, agreement negotiations, and strategy and operations.
- Experience in balancing short-term tactical and long-term goals and managing an APAC regional team.

Preferred qualifications:

- Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience interacting with executives
- Deep knowledge of Google’s Search and Assistant product suite and user and competitive contexts in which they operate
- Ability to effectively influence, communicate, and drive change with multiple stakeholders at all levels of management
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, matrixed, fast-paced, and changing environment- Ability to attract and retain executive talent in the organization as well as cultivate a strong and highly diverse pool of talent- Ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, high energy, constantly evolving, team environment

**About the job**:
As a Managing Director, you will lead the Search, Assistant and Distribution team in Knowledge and Information (K&I) Partnerships, APAC and be responsible for defining the outlook and strategy for the partnerships behind the Search and Assistant content ecosystem in APAC, as well as the partnerships required to grow and distribute products like Search and Lens across multiple third-party surfaces. This ecosystem includes top partners who drive Google’s strategic priorities.

In this role, you will steer a transformational strategy for a fast-growing partnership team and develop solutions to complex, ambiguous, and high visibility business challenges. You will lead and provide strategic and operational leadership for a global team and will also be required to interact with key stakeholders, executives, and cross-functional leaders as you drive alignment, strategic change management, and overall execution.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop new agreement models. Tie these together with other product vertical plans in Geo and Shopping to develop holistic user journeys tailored for APAC.
- Craft the narrative for the APAC team, presenting a holistic view to key stakeholders. Collaborate with a range of constituents including product Vice Presidents in Search and Assistant, APAC country leads, sales, marketing, policy, and legal teams, and with top external partner executives.
- Build and develop a high-performing and diverse team that drives product success while fostering a culture that encourages creative thinking and risk taking.
- Manage 30+ person Search Assistant and Distribution partnerships team in APAC, including oversight of agreement execution and partner management and collaboration with US-based global product leads and counterparts in EMEA to deliver upon and inform global product priorities.
