In Enterprise Network Reliability (ENR), our goal is to ensure that Facebook’s enterprise network and related services run reliably, adapt and grow quickly and have capacity for the future. We are looking for skilled and motivated engineers to join our team, whose mission is to use automation and software engineering to augment the productivity of our enterprise network engineers and deliver automated and self-service solutions for our customers.Our team consists of many levels of experience and backgrounds and our engineers may have previously worked as any of: Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), Systems Engineer, Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Network Engineer. Relevant industry experience is important, but equally so are your demonstrated abilities and attitude.This is a full time role based out of our Singapore office.

**Enterprise Network Reliability Engineer Responsibilities**:

- Design, implement and maintain systems for deploying, managing and monitoring a complex enterprise network environment that is continually growing
- Build systems that are scalable, automated and well-documented
- Debug problems in complex interdependent systems, often in production
- Work with and improve upon legacy code in existing systems, tools and services
- Share an on-call rotation and be an escalation contact for problems related to our products
- Work with our Production Engineering teams, leveraging the scale and complexity of Facebook’s production infrastructure to solve problems for enterprise customers
- Collaborate with other Enterprise Engineering teams to automate processes, and aid in capacity planning and changes to network architecture

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- 5+ years experience working in at least one high-level language (software development is/was a main focus of your job)
- Can rapidly learn new languages (Python is in heavy use in our team), technologies, frameworks and APIs
- Experience building connections with customers and team members through effective communication and collaboration
- Knowledge of Linux-based operating systems and networking fundamentals
- Familiar with most of these, strong in at least one: MySQL, DHCP, SSH, DNS, SNMP
- Experience with implementing and maintaining solutions for monitoring and alerting
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Puppet, Chef or Ansible)

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Experience of front-end development and technologies such as PHP/Hack, React/Redux
- Experience in systems design and architecture
- Experience working with IPv6 and/or dual stack networks
- Experience in test-driven development, CI/CD, unit / integration / end-to-end testing
- Experience with an enterprise network stack, including: routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, wireless, VPN
- Typical vendor-based, network operating system experience
