**Job Summary**

The Associate Creative Director is responsible for developing work that has meaningful and measurable impact, achieves marketing/strategic goals and satisfies client brand requirements. They help lead the copy, design, tone and direction of work from concept to execution. Our Associate Creative Director must seek out new messaging innovations and technologies to cultivate new concepts and promote exciting new ideas. Ultimately we will look to you to be always telling us better ways to do things, things we’ve not seen that we should.

**Role Responsibilities**

CREATIVE, STRATEGY, CONCEPTING & WRITING
- Continually raise the bar on creativity, writing fresh copy that connects with the desiredaudience and drives action.
- Show leadership in executing fresh, innovative concepts that enhance responsestrategies and achieve client and agency objectives
- Work with Executive, Creative and Design Directors, along with production team andclient teams to create appropriate, workable ways to express and enhance the client’scommunication needs and achieve key strategic initiatives
- Guide teams through creative concepting, execution and delivery in accordance withdepartmental processes
- Meet all timelines and deliver executions for Creative Directors, account staff and clientreview per project schedules
- Stay ahead of the curve, as an insight driven leader you’ll know what’s around thecorner within technology, marketing, and businesses.
- Responsible for current knowledge and understanding of emerging trends andtechnologies and the ability to institute best practices for digital and traditional marketing products

**Daily and Monthly Responsibilities**
- Interpret creative briefs to develop and produce creative concepts through execution on assigned brands

- Write original copy and edit content for a range of corporate marketing and communications materials across multiple platforms including video content and audio
- Collaborate with a team of account managers and creative staff from concept development to delivery of final product
- Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal team, and to client representative as needed, and participate in client pitches on occasion
- Revise copy based on internal and client feedback/direction

**Client Contact**
- Develop, present, and help sell creative concepts to clients (in-person or via zoom)
- Communicate creative rationale to clients, defend the work and articulate reasonsbehind each choice.
- Work with client teams to move their agenda forward and provide solutions (Why youneed to trust us)
- Participate in pitch strategy and demonstrate an ability to articulate those strategies

**Creative Team Leadership Duties**
- Collaborate with Account Executives and team members to identify questions and pertinent project information needed to execute assignments
- Work with Creative Directors and Project Managers to assign work
- Mentor and inspire any junior team members to perform at the maximum of their abilitiesand foster reputation as problem solvers
- Assure that creative work meets client objectives, follows strategies aligned to the briefand meets deadlines on budget

**Qualifications**
- Honest, reliable, confident, courteous.
- 6+ years within a fast-paced marketing and agency environment.
- Superior strategic thinking and creative skills (written, visual and conceptual)
- Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and juggle multiple priorities
- Excellent client service and presentation skills
- Self-motivation and a positive interaction with a wide range of individuals is expected
- Broad understanding of typography, colour theory, current design and advertising trends
