They have approached us to support them with the search for an Assistant Director for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). You will lead the conceptualization of a Global BESS innovation hub here in Singapore and the creation of a smart digital solution for battery technology.

Job Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility for crafting and overseeing the strategic plan and product/solution roadmap for the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Innovation Hub. The objective is to position the company as a leading technology provider in the battery industry.
- Foster collaboration with various teams including R&D, engineering, product, marketing, and sales to pioneer groundbreaking solutions. This includes the development of battery passports and advanced models for intelligent charging and battery energy storage.
- Lead the conceptualization of the product, interact with customers, and establish the technology roadmap.
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration with global teams, actively exchanging best practices and knowledge-sharing.
- Spearhead the creation of prototypes and proof-of-concepts, ensuring that ideas are validated and aligned with the product/solution roadmap.
- Remain up-to-date with industry trends, market demands, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for product/solution differentiation and improvement.

Experience Required
- An advanced degree (PhD/Masters/Bachelor) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant field is required.
- Exceptional leadership skills are essential, including the ability to establish and guide high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated success in developing and delivering battery products/solutions is a must.
- The capacity to effectively communicate intricate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is crucial.
