**Job Summary**
Responsible for: Platform Operations, Capacity management, troubleshooting and fault resolution of reported and detected faults, performing effective maintenance to the equipment to prevent faults from occurring, procurement and installation of equipment for expansion and new services.
Manages relationships with functional stakeholders. Monitors and manages key performance metrics. Responsible for the Global Deployments, Development, Change and Monitoring. Manages GN Implementation engineers, including assisting in recruitment, supervision, scheduling, mentoring & development, and evaluations. Establishes department objectives, work plans, SOP, schedules, and ensures resources are available for completion of complex technical projects. Ensures that all tasks are developed into appropriate plans and completed with required analysis and reports.

- Leads a team of global technology professionals
- Responsible for providing comprehensive input to partners to support decision making
- Proactively communicates issues and risks and advance conflicts, proposing options for resolution
- Able to drive effective conflict resolution between partners
- Leads all partner communications with respect to project and operations status
- In addition to building effective working relationships with team members, the manager partners with s to complete agreed-upon commitments
- Responsible for handling partner critical issues/priority shifts to resolution and/or senior management critical issue
- Works closely with project managers to track resource allocation and utilization for assigned projects
Operational Responsibilities
- Leads the Implementation Development/Post Deployment (change, upgrades, capacity additions, etc) functions globally
- Provides feedback to the multi-functional teams based on customer input, deployment, and post deployment experiences
- Works closely with the Change Management team to ensure change is carried out following defines processes resulting in smooth business operations
- Engages in reviews of functional specifications and solution discussions
- Participates in POC and MOP validation of planned changes to the Edge solutions
- Identifies key customer issues & coaches the team on all aspects of operational responsibilities
- Leads the changes with a goal to deliver the highest levels of customer satisfaction on Equinix products
- Available to handle off-hours maintenance activities and critical issues from other multi-functional teams.
- Live deployment of new multi-vendor Edge solutions like Network Edge and Equinix Metal.
- Builds the process workflow for others to follow
- Assists in network tools deployments working with multi-functional teams.
- Leads the implementation of new features and new architecture deployments
- Drives network software and process automation and assists in generating business system requirements
- Performs and drives automation of key Implementation functions and tasks
**Qualifications**
- 4+ years of direct or indirect leadership experience
- 8+ year experience in the Telco/Service Provider industries, preferably with operational experience in an ISP/Carrier environment.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, EVPN, VXLAN), WAN technologies, backbone operations.
- Strong knowledge of OpenStack technologies and network function virtualization.
- Intimately familiarity with the Network Edge architecture is crucial
