Compliance and Ethics Manager

Salling Search is partenered with a global freight forwarding company and with its business expansion initiative, they are looking or a Compliance and Etchics Manager based in Singapore.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and conduct investigations or inspections for compliance or ethic issues, as well as monitoring the conduct of employees through reviews and providing relevant training and collaborating with the HR team to ensure the compliance on standards and regulations.
- Implementation of all compliance and ethics related modules of the companies like anti-fraud, anti-bribery, Company’s whistleblowing, anti-money laundering, etc. across the region.
- Revise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues
- Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies. Also, evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and HR departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in law with 6 to 8 years of experience in a service or freight forwarding industry
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with ability to influence and build relationships across broad range of stakeholders
- Hands-on and ability to multi-task to drive timely results
- Highly organized, being able to prioritize and to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, comfortable with high volume workload and willing to "roll up your sleeves”.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage technology and data to analyze, invent, and scale.
