My client is a global leader in financial markets infrastructure and they are seeking an experienced System Architect to lead the design of high-performance, cloud-native systems for a key Rates and FX trading platform. This is a hands-on architecture role focused on building scalable, event-driven systems that process millions of messages per day.

What we're looking for:

- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience designing cloud-native systems (not just cloud migrations
- Strong background in event-driven architectures - platforms handling 50,000+ events/second preferred
- Deep domain expertise in capital markets (preferred), or in other complex domains like banking/finance
- Multiple prior roles as an architect, backed by a solid foundation in engineering
- Hands-on with modern tech stacks (C#/Java/C++), AWS (or other cloud platforms), and DevOps tooling
- Experienced working in Agile environments and aligning technical design to business priorities
