Senior Trust Accountant

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and review financial statements of large trust and company structures in accordance with the appropriate accounting standards.
- Advise on financial reporting impact of complex, non-standard transactions.
- Support on audit process, tax and regulatory filings (FATCA and CRS).
- Support on quarterly and annual investment monitoring processes.
- Liaise with external client stakeholders (advisors, bankers, lawyers, consultants) in close coordination with Sequent Client Services and Wealth Planning teams.
- Reconciling quarterly financial positions and transactions to statements.
**Requirements**:
- A professional accounting qualification e.g. ACCA / ACA / CPA / CIMA
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting, controlling or auditing. Knowledge or experience in the Trust industry would be an advantage.
- Developed in IT skills (Advanced proficiency in MS Excel). Knowledge in NAVOne would be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and technical skills with an eye for details. Knowledge of UK taxation or private equity would be an advantage.
- Flexible but structured and organised with abilities to work independently and self-manage to meet demanding deadlines, when required.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication with ability to engage with others across all levels of seniority. Work experiences in a multi-cultural environment would be an advantage.
