
Regional Operations Manager

We are seeking a proactive and highly organized **Regional Operations Manager**to support the operational functions and corporate secretarial compliance of our growing network of offices across the Indo-Pacific region as well as to provide paralegal support to our Washington, D.C. based legal team. Based in **India (Delhi or Mumbai), Singapore or Hong Kong**, this role serves as the key liaison between our Washington, D.C. headquarters and regional offices, ensuring seamless coordination of corporate operations, local compliance, facility logistics, and statutory governance across 11 regional offices, with potential for future expansion. It also provides crucial paralegal support to our Washington. D.C. based legal team to assist in the timely execution of client contracts as well as other high-profile legal matters.
Working with local consultants in the various countries, you will be responsible for ensuring that each regional office—including **New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangkok, Hanoi, Tokyo, Singapore, Seoul, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taipei, and Australia**—operates in accordance with local regulations while aligning with our global policies and standards.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Regional Office Operations Management (60% of time)**:
- Regional Office Management _
- Working with third-party local accounting, payroll, and corporate secretarial consultants in each country, serve as the primary company point-of-contact with the consultants for operational support across Indo-Pacific offices;
- Liaise between the consultants and internal company actors regarding office operational support needs;
- Coordinate administrative, logístical, and facility-related needs to ensure each office runs efficiently and consistently;
- Support new office openings, hirings, and facility expansion projects in collaboration with local and HQ teams;
- Obtain and manage insurance needs for foreign offices including local health insurance, professional liability insurance, and property insurance;
- Manage office leases, vendor contracts, and facility-related services;
- Collaborate with senior leads in each office to identify needs and provide responsive operational support;
- Act as a regional bridge for implementing HQ initiatives related to workplace strategy, technology, and corporate governance;
- Provide regular status reports to HQ on regional office operations, risks, and needs.
- Corporate Secretarial & Governance Compliance _
- Oversee corporate secretarial requirements across all regional offices, working closely with local corporate secretarial service providers;
- Maintain up-to-date records, including business registrations, board resolutions, annual filings, leases, and other compliance documentation;
- Working with local consultants, ensure timely submission of annual returns and compliance with local Companies Act or equivalent governance requirements;
- Track and manage changes to directorships, legal representatives, registered addresses, and other legal entity details;
- Support HQ with due diligence requests and internal audits related to international entity governance.
- Assist HQ HR and Legal teams in drafting and implementing ethics and compliance policies such as employee handbooks and navigating local labor laws.
- Special Projects & Regional Support _
- Support onboarding of new office managers and provide training on operations standards;Travel regionally (10-15%) as needed to oversee key initiatives and coordination.
**Legal Assistant (40% Time)**
- Maintain legal databases, contract management systems, and internal documentation.
- Assist with the preparation and filing of corporate governance documents and regulatory filings.
- Support due diligence efforts for new clients and partners in alignment with global compliance standards.
- Working with third-party local incorporation consultants, assist in establishing new TAG affiliated offices abroad.
- Conduct legal research on a variety of issues related to regulatory and business compliance matters.Assist in establishing and managing processes and workflows for legal matters and liaising with outside counsel and internal stakeholders.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, corporate governance, operations, or related field.
- 8-12 years of experience in office operations, regional coordination, corporate secretarial functions, and/or legal assistance.
- Familiarity with corporate governance standards and compliance frameworks across Asia-Pacific jurisdictions.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and project management skills.
- Strong cross-cultural awareness and ability to manage multi-country coordination.
- Proficiency with tools like Microsoft 365, document management platforms, and cloud-based communication tools.
- Fluent in English; additional regional languages, a plus.
- Accounting experience, a plus.
- Able to travel regionally on occasion.
