**Responsibilities**
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SAS programs for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to support various analytics and reporting initiatives.
- Work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including data dictionaries, process flow diagrams, and other relevant materials.
- Implement best practices in SAS programming, ensuring code quality, efficiency, and adherence to established standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data integrity and consistency across various platforms.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of SAS programs to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior SAS developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in SAS programming and data management.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in SAS programming, with a strong focus on data management, analytics, and reporting.
- Expertise in Base SAS, SAS Macro language, and SAS/STAT.
- Experience with various SAS modules, such as SAS/ACCESS, SAS/GRAPH, and SAS/SQL, is a plus.
- Proficiency in data manipulation, cleaning, and validation techniques.
- Strong understanding of database concepts, including SQL and relational databases.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
