Deals may involve a long sales cycle. Results: Can report to any of the field sales management positions.

**Working at NTT**

The Account Consultant (AC) is part of the Global IP Network (GIN) Business Unit and is responsible to meet and exceed monthly sales quota from the sale of high bandwidth IP transit services together with associated value-added services (including security services), to Internet-centric companies, both domestically and internationally, while minimizing customer churn and price erosion through active account management of an assigned customer base.

**Position Requirements**
- Responsible for managing a list of assigned existing accounts.
- Development of account management and marketing plans consistent with position objectives.
- Track, manage, and report ongoing activity relative to plan.
- Responsible for customer retention of assigned accounts.
- Identify competitive pricing solutions for customers.
- Assist with new product rollout and make sales presentations on new product lines to customers
- Performs myriad of task as required/and or assigned.
- Follow all corporate security rules and regulations as prescribed by the Information Security Policy.
- Responsible for participating and successfully completing all company-wide mandates/training in a timely manner.
- Complies with Corporate Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action standards.

- Complies with all corporate and organizational security policies and guidelines
- Abide by all policies and procedures as outlined in the NTT Employee Handbook.

**Education and Experience**

Preferred level of education and experience necessary to successfully perform the principle responsibilities of this position:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science, engineering or a related field preferred.
- Minimum (2) years of telecommunications sales, high tech sales or related experience.
- Proven track record of success in managing a module of accounts in a high tech (or related) field.

**Working Conditions**

Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work requires extensive work using a computer and possibly other office equipment.
