**About our Opportunity**
- AVEVA Sales Transformation team delivers high-impact strategic initiatives from concept to execution, functioning as global-level change agents and internal consultants to the Sales organization. The Sales Transformation team collaborates closely with Sales Operations; Finance; Regional/Market, Functional, Partner/Channel Sales teams, to accelerate AVEVA’s transition to cloud and SaaS sales.
We are seeking a highly skilled Strategy & Planning Executive to develop global-scale growth strategies and manage cross-functional strategic initiatives across a highly diversified software portfolio.

- Demonstrated ability to lead the development and execution oversight of impactful multi-year sales strategies/programs,
- Consultative approach to dive deeply into ambiguity and rapidly frame and problem-solve, and
- Entrepreneurial temperament to roll up the sleeves and build on own, and be resourceful - as this is an individual contributor role that will grow into a manager role
- Influence to guide senior cross-functional stakeholders for data-driven decisions and to make short
- and long-term tradeoff decisions amidst constraints
- Strong judgment and experience in overseeing geographically dispersed teams to deliver results in an agile fashion
Responsibilities include:

- Organizational diagnostics and gap analysis
- Addressable market analysis
- Target sales operating model recommendations
- Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy
- Sales performance optimization across direct and indirect channels through close collaboration with Regional/Market, Functional, Partner/Channel Sales teams
- Partnership strategy in collaboration with Partners/Channel Sales leaders
- Harmonization of sales strategies against customer and competitive trends, partner dynamics, wallet share, and budget
- New commercial strategy and mechanisms developed with product teams to convert current install base to subscription
- Guidance to senior leadership on best practices in cloud sales operations.
Qualifications:

- 22+ years’ work experience in multi-national, matrixed, high tech vendor organizations
- Inclusive of minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in sales strategy, planning & operations, and as a people manager
- Direct experience in cloud sales strategy & planning and management reporting
- Management consulting experience preferred or a combination of corporate and management consulting experience
- Demonstrated ability to grow, coach, and manage a globally dispersed team
- Highly adept at complex orchestration of cross-functional, global transformational strategies and their execution
- Ability to conduct hands-on analysis of complex data, and translating into executive deliverables  2 redacted work samples required
- Expert level in Excel, Power BI
- Strong written and presentation development skills for executive communication
- Strong prioritization skills, driving multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Ability to operate and adapt successfully in a lean, fast-paced environment
- MBA preferred
