Our facility in Singapore has key functions in research and development, procurement, sales and finance for our Lighting and Detection business lines, in addition to key functions related to our Optics Manufacturing capabilities.

We are presently seeking an **QA Engineer** that will ensure continuity of works pertaining to Quality Management.

Main responsibilities:

- Manage Incoming QA Team to complete Incoming and First Article Inspections, Customer Returns Verification, and all assignments timely;
- Manage Incoming QA Team to maintain correctness of Incoming QA Inspections documents, reports and records;
- Train, certify and supervise Incoming QA Technicians and Inspectors;
- Interpret reject criteria and evaluate rejected materials at Incoming QA;
- Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) and disposition of Non-Conforming Materials;
- Point of contact for supplier nonconforming materials and work with supplier to resolve the issue and implement effective corrective actions or quality plans to prevent recurrence of nonconformities;
- Organize meeting with R&D, Engineering, Sourcing, Customer Quality, Sales, etc. to resolve ambiguous manufacturing issues or disputes related to supplier materials;
- Work closely with supplier and relevant departments (Purchasing, Sourcing, Engineering, Production, etc.) to close supplier material quality issues and Block Stock status in SAP;
- Review and approve supplier records such as First Article Inspection Report (FAIR), Specification Review Form (SRF), Supplier Corrective Action Report (SCAR), etc.;
- Perform supplier audits to ensure conformance to applicable requirements such as Excelitas, ISO9001, AS9100D and/or Customer Specific Requirements);
- Issue Supplier Corrective Action Report (SCAR) to supplier and follow-up with supplier to monitor progress for timely reply, review and closure;
- Compile and generate Incoming QA & Supplier Quality Performance Report for review and continual improvement in performance;
- Support Sourcing and Purchasing department in communicating/flow-down Excelitas and/or Customer Specific Quality Requirements to supplier, reviewing and approving new supplier selection, evaluation and part qualification;
- Participate in New Product Introduction Process and qualifying of FAI or FAT parts for production.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, Mechanical or Optical Engineering, or associate Degree or Diploma;
- At least 3 years in a Manufacturing and Quality Assurance environment is preferred;
- Experience working with Supplier Quality Management;
- Experience in New Product Introduction process management and product quality planning;
- ISO 9001 and certified internal auditor;
- AS9100 for Defense, Aviation and Space Industries and/or ISO 13485 Quality Management System is a big plus;
- Statistical Quality Control (SQC) techniques, Geometric Dimensioning & Toleranceing (GDT), Metrology (CMM, Smart Scope, Vision Scope, etc.), Measurement System Analysis (GRR) is highly desired;
- Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc. is desirable;
- Attention to detail, Analytical skills, Problem-solving skills;
- ASQ certified Quality Engineer and or ASQ certified Six-Sigma Green/Black Belt is beneficial.
