JR26075 Senior Manager, Senior Project Control Manager, Global Construction (Evergreen)

Manages and oversees project controls for Global Construction projects. Responsible for project planning and scheduling, cost estimating and control, change control, and document control. Manages site based project controls personnel. Establishes and maintains policies to mitigate risk and enhance performance. Develop global cost and schedule bench marks based on actual results to drive excellence. Provides guidance and consultation for project managers and highlights deviations to project plans to Global Construction Director.

Reporting to Global Construction Director in order to ensure that the project is successfully delivered on time and within budget, incorporating approved changes and assessing the potential risks for proposed construction project plans and process for engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and project management tasks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide leadership, guidance and direction to the Global Project Controls team.
- Work closely with the Global Facilities team to plan and prepare for the successful delivery of upcoming projects, ensuring the sufficient resources to drive project controls are available.
- Collate, track and validate global project details for project cost and schedule
- Capture actual data to establish an accurate database of cost and schedule delivery
- Analyze results to develop trends and rules of thumb to improve project budgeting and pre-project planning
- Work closely with the Construction and Engineering team to constantly refine and enhance procedures and policies
- Identify risks and adverse influences that can impact the outcome of a project in order to develop realistic delivery plans and ensure that goals are met.
- Interact with Project Manager and various key stakeholders involved in the project implementation to establish work scope and develop work strategies with proper sequence and durations and compliant to project master plan.
- Responsible to coordinate the change management process from the original scope of work.
- Monitor and facilitate the risk management process, participate in the elaboration of risk mitigation measures & seek opportunities (e.g. additional work) to prepare Cost Forecast and accurate Cash Flow for the Project.
- Ensure that the Project Manager is provided with support and advice on all aspects of Project Controls.
- Co-ordinate Lesson Learned session for projects with all stakeholders.

**Qualification/Skills**

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
- 10 years’ experience in engineering / construction field
- Proven ability to lead a Global Team
- Proven track record in project controls of large fast track, complex projects
- Fluent in spoken and written English and be an effective communicator.
- High proficient at MS office, Primavera, Microsoft Project.
