**Key Responsibilities include**:
1. Conduct Request for Proposal (RFP) / Request for Quotation (RFQ) to solicit solutions to meet business requirements in a timely manner
- Research and source for suitable suppliers to meet business requirements
- Process executed in accordance to the Purchasing Manual
- Participate in proposal evaluation using approved evaluation matrix an submit recommendations
- Conduct contract negotiation and finalise contract upon approval - Ensure process completion on time and within KPI

2. Renewal of Contracts
- Manage and track contract expiry obtain renewal via RFP/RFQ, conduct negotiations and seek Purchasing Authority’s approval
- Update savings or increases

3. Vendor Management
- Identify and implement vendor management best practices to improve existing processes and procedures
- Conduct regular assessment of key vendors’ performance, particularly on delivery to service levels

4. Contract Management
- Negotiate, prepare, advise and review the content of contracts for approval - Work with legal counsel to prepare contracts
- Prepare approved contracts for signature

5. Others
- Compliance to Purchasing Manual policies
- Submit Interested Party Transactions (IPT) declarations, when necessary
- Resolve contractual issues and claims raised by project teams
- Manage escalation process and follow through to successful settlement
- Handle non RFP/RFQ contract negotiations and Statement of Work (SOW)
**Requirements**:

- A degree in either business and/or technology/information system is preferable
- Possess project management, strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and well with people on all levels
