Singapore MHA - Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) Full time

**What the role is**
- SO Digital Media Officer is required to conduct research and horizon scanning of new online platforms and tools for the purposes of public outreach, engagement and education, as well as branding and publicity for the SCDF. The incumbent needs to analyse the return-on-investment (ROI) of each platform and make recommendations and proposals to SCDF’s senior management, with the aim of building upon successful experiments and further engage in high-ROI platforms.
As a team member of the Digital Media Unit, the incumbent will also monitor on-line discussions, trends and sentiments, and maintain and ensure timely and accurate dissemination of SCDF-related news and information on SCDF social media sites.

**What you will be working on**
- a) To research and experiment with new digital platforms and tools to reach out and engage the different target groups in the community, especially the younger audiences (e.g. Twitch, holography and virtual/AI influencers).
b) Allocate and manage CCD’s budget to conduct experiments on multiple online platforms, and analyse the return-on-investment (ROI) of each platform.
c) Provide AAR reports with key findings and recommendations of social media experimentations.
d) Manage the identification and selection of social monitoring vendor, and update relevant contractual terms in accordance with the work requirements and needs of the department.
e) Assess the performance and effectiveness of the different types of social media posts on different platforms so as to replicate the success and traits of a good posts while avoiding elements of posts that do not achieve the desired outcomes;
f) Monitor and identify dissident voices or negative comments targeted at SCDF in the social media platforms monitored by SCDF.
g) Ensure prompt and appropriate replies in response to comments posted online.
h) Content ideation, planning and coordination for social media postings.

**What we are looking for**
- a) Savvy with technical aspects of existing social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram and Tik Tok.
b) Interest in current affairs and a keen sense on the latest trends in social media platforms or latest online platforms which appeal to the different groups of the community
