Reporting to Manager, Technical, this position will provide technical support for the manufacturing process to ensure production complies strictly with company’s safety standards and environmental regulations. This role will also provide technical support in troubleshooting and process improvement for the chemical plant.

**Responsibilities**
- Oversee plant performance, conduct root cause analysis, investigate process failures and recommend appropriate solutions or corrective actions
- Implement process modification, design review, HAZOP and oversee site work
- Conduct trial production and initiate optimization ideas for process improvement
- Perform internal inspection during shutdown maintenance
- Perform technical study and share knowledge with other team members
- Conduct technical training for Supervisors and Technicians
- Assist in quality issue investigation through data collection and analysis
- Work with other departments to promote continuous improvement initiatives

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
- Self-driven, independent and resourceful
- Effective team player with good communication and presentation skills
- Possess good analytical thinking and problem solving skills
