Job introduction

**Responsibilities**:
This position is responsible for leading the tax planning and tax compliance in SEA region.
- Lead the local tax team to ensure all tax returns are accurately and timely filed in compliant with the applicable tax laws and regulations in this region.
- Collaborate process improvements and tax optimization initiatives with focus on tax technology.
- Develop tax strategies and ensure that the company is operating in a tax-efficient manner in the region.
- Manage and maintain the tax incentives, if any.
- Provide tax advice across various product lines and jurisdictions in developing and implementing comprehensive and practical tax solutions.
- Manage tax inquiries and tax audits raised by the tax authorities.
- Respond to internal and external tax inquiries and assist business partners with timely tax advice.
- Monitor the change and update of tax legislation and assess the impact on business.

**Qualifications**:

- Qualified chartered accountant or tax legal/lawyer with at least 10 years Singapore and/or broader SEA tax experience.
- Bachelor degree or above.
- Have relevant tax experience in MNC, public accounting firm or reputable law firm.
- Have experience of team management
- TMT industry working experience is preferred.
- Ability to clearly communicate tax technical issues to non-tax professionals;
- Ability to lead complex projects working effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated and have strong ownership of the projects with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills, including persuasive written and oral communication skills.
