**Position Overview**

**Responsibilities**:

- Creates and maintains tools, automated processes and documentation needed for effective, scalable software localization and testing
- Keeps current with latest trends and technologies to anticipate future development needs and requirements
- Drives and contributes actively to the design, development and deployment of new and alternative ways to deliver translated products to the customers
- Takes an active part in advising and influencing development teams on how to increase the level of globalization targeting an exceptional international user experience as well as stability and cost effectiveness of the localization process
- Provides second level technical support to the localization vendor engineering teams

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science
- 5+ years of web and mobile development experience
- Experience with software development frameworks, programming and scripting languages, with some or all of the following: Scala, Java, Akka, Slick, Java, Python, JavaScript, C++, C#, QT, Perl
- Experience with Micro Services architecture, development and monitoring (eg: Grafana)
- Knowledge of databases SQL (MySQL) and NoSQL, Content Management Systems, localization tools
- Experience in cloud services development with Amazon Web Services, Windows Azure or equivalent cloud technologies is desirable
- Process automation experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop creative solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience collaborating in a multicultural dispersed team to deliver projects, sometimes responsible for leading initiatives
- Experience in AI or ML is a plus
