As a Technical Promotion specialist for Electrification business, you will be responsible for planning and implementing proactive promotional activities for the assigned target audience (consultants, design institutes, engineering/architect offices, authorities etc.) to create the market demand and need for the features/products. Reporting to Technical & Design Promotion Manager, you will be building long term customer relationships and identifying and developing sales opportunities by introducing, presenting and educating the target audience about ABB products and tools. This position is based in Singapore.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Conducting comprehensive market research to identify new business opportunities and exploring potential market avenues in the automation field. Analyzing market size, top customers, competitors, value chains, etc., and contributing to establishing/improving the industry ecosystem
- Preparing plans for visits and performs regular status reviews, including the analysis and output of the target audience visits
- Planning, developing, creating, and executing marketing campaigns and materials about technical topics. These materials may include sales sheets, spec sheets, demonstration videos, case studies, and other content formats
- Providing customer support in answering technical questions, performing electrical calculations for the design institutes and technical consultants
- Ensuring efficient marketing activities and strong value proposition to customers by using effective promotional techniques
- Managing and driving education of the target audience by conducting and organizing appropriate training interventions
- Managing administrative procedures in technical promotion processes and creates reporting as per needs of the organization

**Your background**:

- Diploma or degree in electrical engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of consultancy experience or related field
- Good to have consultant contacts and or background will be an advantage
- A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following workplace safety guidelines
- A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
