This is a part time position of 20 hours per week. Working hours will be in the evenings and weekends
**Job Description**:
What to expect:
Reception & Front Desk Duties:
- Greet all members and visitors with a warm and welcoming attitude.
- Manage member check-ins and registrations efficiently.
- Handle inquiries about memberships, classes, and other services.
- Schedule and manage class bookings, cancellations, and reschedules.
Membership Management:
- Process membership sign-ups, renewals, and cancellations.
- Maintain accurate membership records and payment details in the system.
- Manage payment collections and issue receipts.
Operational Support:
- Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the reception, gym, and common areas.
- Ensure equipment is in good working order and coordinate maintenance when necessary.
- Track and manage inventory of gym supplies, merchandise, and beverages.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures.
Customer Experience:
- Build strong relationships with members and foster a positive, community-focused environment.
- Collect and act on feedback to enhance member satisfaction.
- Assist in promoting gym events, workshops, and promotions.
Administrative & Reporting:
- Maintain daily reports for attendance, membership sales, and class participation.
- Support the Operations Manager in coordinating schedules and staff activities.
- Ensure compliance with all gym policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- A positive, sunny and outgoing personality is essential for the role
- Prior experience in customer service, front desk, or gym operations preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using gym management software or booking systems is a plus.
- Passion for fitness and familiarity with Muay Thai or MMA is highly desirable.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
