The Protective Engineering (PE) laboratory is part of the PECT Laboratory. PE Laboratory supports PTRC's research (PTRC). PE Lab has structural equipment and universal testing machines for teaching and research.

The PE Lab Technician operates and maintains research lab equipment. Prepare and lead labs.

**Responsibilities**:
- Check lab equipment, tools, lighting, projectors, etc.- Clean and maintain the lab's equipment and environment.- Coordination and lab safety.- Assist researchers with test specimens to ensure a smooth test.- Ensure testing safety and offer advice.- Support research students in operating lab equipment.- To guide students in understanding how equipment works and achieving accurate results.- Perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment.- To ensure lesson sessions run efficiently.- Take on projects, additional roles, and duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer.

**Requirements**:
- Diploma in Civil, Construction, Mechanical, Electronic, Computer, and Communication Engineering.- IT experience is an advantage.- 3 years' experience required.
