Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 12 years of experience across marketing, product management, or management consulting in technology.
- 5 years of growth marketing experience working in an internet-based product or service, media, FMCG, or consulting.
- 4 years of experience in technology/media.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or degree in a technical/quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics).
- Experience in strategy consulting. Experience with SQL or other programming languages.
- Ability in analyzing data to develop marketing strategies, make sound business decisions, and execute scaled programs that drive business goals.
- Persuasive communicator, adept at packaging disparate or complicated data into a concise, compelling story to influence technical and business stakeholders; including the building of growth/financial models.
**About the job**:
Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the representation of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.
We work across all YouTube products to drive growth, engagement, and happiness for users, creators and artists. Regionally, you'll lead Integrated Media Platforms (building the channels, tools and operations of growth), and Product Growth (managing deep end-to-end acquisition and retention for products).
We have a major impact on product growth in areas such as YouTube Shorts, Subscriptions, Brand, Core & Responsibility, Artists, and Creators. Your work will reach billions of users, and engage one of the world’s largest communities.
In this role, you'll set up the platforms function of the APAC Platforms and Growth team. You’ll be the primary manager of APAC YouTube Platforms and Growth Marketing team’s strategy and infrastructure necessary to drive key marketing goals from Brand to Product Growth at scale, enabling our marketers to reach and engage the world’s largest funnel of users and creators. You'll lead the existing APAC Growth team to launch new regional awareness, acquisition, retention and engagement channels and campaigns across YouTube product Areas.

**Responsibilities**:
- Lead platforms and growth marketing for YouTube’s paid and free consumer facing products and audiences in the region. Develop and adjust annual and quarterly plans. Identify growth areas, sizing opportunities, build action plans and securing and redistributing resources for regional and market specific needs.
- Present growth opportunities across products and audiences. Coordinate with the APAC Platforms & Growth team members to source insights through funnel, life cycle, channel and creative performance analysis.
- Build the APAC YouTube Integrated Media Platforms team, strategy and roadmap in collaboration with the Global Growth Platforms Marketing, Product, Policy and Engineering teams, aiming to improve the efficiency, reach and robustness of our tools, infrastructure and policies.
- Develop Growth marketing strategies and tactics and translate them into awareness, acquisition and retention marketing campaigns across user life cycle for YouTube products.
