**About the job**:
- The Red Hat Brand Experience and Communications team is looking for a Brand Manager to join us in Asia Pacific. In this role, you will provide strategic brand solutions to local marketing initiatives. You will be a bridge between our corporate headquarters and marketing teams across Asia Pacific to ensure global brand development. As a regional Brand Manager, you will provide information and advocate for the corporate marketing programs with our local Asia Pacific offices, while also keeping focus on the regional priorities.-
**What you will do**:
- Identify and develop brand awareness initiatives in the region, in concert with the corporate marketing team objectives.
- Contribute to global marketing initiatives by ensuring regional relevancy with regional insights, localization needs, brand strategy and data
- Define, plan and develop regional brand awareness initiatives working with the other global Brand Managers
- Translate brand strategic plans into defined deliverables and lead cross-functional teams to execute multiple, simultaneous projects
- Communicate detailed project plans, deliverables, and timelines with internal stakeholders, global creative teams, or external agencies
- Align with local leadership to help identify priority initiatives to support
- Coordinate delivery of in-market brand program promotion strategy with corporate team
- Create and optimize global and regional creative processes
- Support our key business priorities, ensuring end-to-end project management to successfully meet deadlines and deliver results
- Build strong relationships across regional Marketing teams to identify opportunities, share best practices, improve processes and drive operational efficiency
- Drive and make recommendations regarding how to most effectively engage customers across channels to support business objectives, and improve customer experience.
**What you will bring**:
- BS/MS degree in Design / Advertising / Marketing or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, branding, design, communications, and/or advertising, working cross-functionally, within an international technical environment in a similar role
- Experience working with an in-house creative team, external agencies or vendors
- Extremely well organized and detail oriented
- Excellent communication skills for responding to and coordinating with senior stakeholders as necessary
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build and nurture relationships within and outside the company
- Understanding of regional cultural differences in the countries in Asia Pacific
- Excellent design, writing, editing, and effective presentation skills.
- Ability to make decisions and work with mínimal guidance.
- Excellent project management and planning skills. Ability to work on multiple projects with frequently changing priorities in a collaborative environment.
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
- Willingness to travel and ability to work independently and autonomously
