**General Description**

Primarily responsible for the full spectrum of accounting function for AGST business.

**Key Responsibilities**

1. Financial Reporting:

- Prepare and present accurate financial reports, statements, and analyses.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and reporting standards.
- Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and report on variances.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

2. Financial Planning and Analysis:

- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Prepare and monitor financial budgets, forecasts, and projections.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Identify and address financial risks and opportunities.

3. Coordination and Compliance
- Coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activities
- Coordinate and liaise with external parties like investors, external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required
- Support and ensure statutory compliance with all finance and tax filing requirements, procedures and policies.
- Support internal and external audits when required

4. Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for the organization
- Collaborate with department heads to develop accurate budgets
- Monitor and analyse budget variances and provide explanations
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

**Job Requirements**
- Good working knowledge of IFRS
- Well-versed in MS Office, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- A self-starter who is able to plan, organise and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently
- Can-do attitude, driven and passionate about work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

**Qualifications**
- Minimum LCCI or Degree in Accountancy qualification or academic equivalent
- Minimum 3- 4 years of accounting experience preferably in full spectrum or from Big 4 Accounting firms
