**What the role is**
- The Strategic Communications & Engagement Division (SCED) oversees the planning, development and execution of public communication strategies and public engagements as well as the management of MND’s social media strategies and platforms to communicate the Ministry’s policies and programmes. SCED’s communications and outreach functions including issues management, media relations, digital communications, events management, marketing communications, publications, and stakeholder engagement. These functions are conducted in an integrated manner to maximise MND’s communications and outreach efforts and to ensure greater synergies across the MND family agencies. You will be part of the Strategic Communications team, and your role will be to lead in the execution of strategies on our policy initiatives.

**What you will be working on**
- 1 Lead, plan and oversee the execution of strategic communications strategies; 2 Conceptualise and execute effective media engagement and communications plans; 3 Provide and coordinate strategic communications counsel to partner agencies; 4 Lead in issues management, crisis communications and/or other related cases; and 5 Work with partners to gather ground insights to guide policy formulation.

**What we are looking for**
- At least 10 years of relevant working experience in media relations, journalism, marketing communications or a related field;
- Good written and verbal communications skills is a must;
