Ava Technician

Scope of Services

The Services required are set out as follows:
1. The AVA Support Assistant shall report to the school’s HOD/SH ICT & School Library and ICT Manager.

2. The job scope is, but not limited to the following:

- AVA support (recording lessons, photo and video coverage, editing videos) for all teaching and learning programmes, school activities and events.

PA system duties:
1. Flag raising ceremony and Arrival Assembly

2. School Assembly

3. To facilitate AVA crew in setting up/ keeping of AV/ IT equipment before/after school events.

Managing AV equipments & setting up of rooms for meetings, activities and programmes

1. To ensure visualizers and projectors are in working condition.

2. Assist in request projection setup.

Loan of AV/ICT equipment

1. To assist in the loaning and returning of ICT/AVA equipment to Technical Assistant

Manage the media resource room

2. Using 3D printing software and operating 3D printers,

3. Operating drones,

4. Operating VR goggles,

5. Operating 360O camera,

6. Operating any other media equipments

Monthly Report Submission to HOD/SH ICT & School Library/ICT Manager

1. List the tasks that had been done weekly in details.

2. List the outstanding issues

Other Duties

1. Assist in maintenance of equipment during PSLE Listening Comprehension period

2. Assist in videoing and editing of school events

3. Assisting in relocation of equipment

4. Any other duties as assigned by Principal, Vice Principal, HOD/ SH ICT & School Library or ICT Manager.

Qualification, Skill & Experience of the Contractor’s Personnel

The Personnel shall mínimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
1. GCE ‘O’ Level Education or equivalent preferred.

2. Knowledge in Microsoft Office and PA system. Knowledge of other computer and software systems will be preferred.

3. Have experience working in a similar capacity as an ICT/AVA support assistant/AVA Technician is preferred.

4. Have good interpersonal skills and works well with others.

5. Possess good working attitude and be willing to learn, not afraid to take up new challenges.

6. Preferably staying in the Woodlands, Admiralty or Marsiling area
