Our client is a Wealth and Investment Company. They are looking for an Operations Officer (Middle & Back Office) to join the team.
- This incumbent will be directly reporting to the team leader
- 【 What you will be doing 】
- 1) Primary Responsibility- Primarily focused on handling Hedge Funds (both Cayman and VCCs)
- Supporting day-to-day Middle and Back Office operations
- Monitor operational and risk metrics and escalate potential issues or anomalies
- Review NAV reporting packs
- Reconcile accounts, or review reconciliations prepared by the Offshore team and correct any variances promptly
- Assisting with the Financial Audit of Funds
- Primary point of contact for Level 1 support for allocated Hedge Fund Managers
- Post compliance approval, liaise with investor and fund administrator regarding subscriptions and redemptions
- Broker account setup for existing fund
- Check the accuracy of invoices and set up for timely payment

2) Secondary Responsibility:
- Maintain a full log of tasks and activities
- Develop and implement short-term and long-term goals and objectives
- Communicate regularly with Team Leader and Management regarding day-to-day matters
- Implement decisions made by the Team Leader and Management

**Qualifications**:
**Requirement**:

- 【 What they are looking for 】- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
- 2 to 4 years relevant experience in Hedge Fund middle and back-office operations (With Hedge Fund or Fund Accountant)
- Experience creating, deploying, and automating operational systems and processes.
- Understanding and experience with the asset management and/or hedge funds industry is pre pre-requisite
