**Job Description Summary**: Responsible for evaluation and underwriting of new investment deals and oversee the asset following deal closure. Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Responsible for driving the wing-to-wing risk assessment and deal execution process (underwriting, structuring, closing, funding, and portfolio management) for new global equity investment opportunities in the Power and Renewables industries (focusing mainly in the Asia Pacific region)
- Analyze and develop financial models and projections
- Conduct industry/company research and analysis
- Perform asset valuation analysis
- Assist in preparation of internal investment approval requests and other deal specific documentation
- Prepare risk assessments and provide support in presenting to senior management with a clear and consistent approach to mitigate project risks
- Provide support in negotiating terms and conditions for the transactions and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure appropriate documentation
- Maintain deal management information systems that are leveraged for the preparation of internal reports
- Review operating and financial results of project / investee companies
- Portfolio responsibilities for projects / investment from financial close, up to and including running the exit process
- Possess good understanding of the industry, as well as knowledge of how the competition aims to differentiate itself
- Possess good understanding of how the team integrates with other teams in accomplishing the objectives
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of a discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy; Basic knowledge of related job disciplines.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience: may lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field; conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues

**Required Qualifications**
- This role requires advanced experience in the Investment Risk Management and Deal Execution
- Some experience with renewables and power investment / financing transactions
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Engineering and/or MBA Degree
- Strong financial statement analysis, financial modeling, and valuation skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

**Desired Characteristics**
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Strong analytical skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills. Proactive, takes the initiative. Team player
- At least 5 years’ experience of progressive complexity in financial structuring and investing
- Experience in the energy industry is preferable
