In particular, the focus of the Civil Engineer is to undertake design and consulting services within the Civil Engineering discipline in order to enhance the team’s portfolio of skills and expertise. **The Opportunity**
Are you a skilled Civil Engineer seeking to contribute to impactful and sustainable infrastructure projects? At Arup, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects across Energy, Water, Land Development, Rail, and Industrial sectors, helping shape a better future for our clients and communities.

**In this role, you will**:

- Provide design expertise across all project lifecycle stages, from Master Plan and Feasibility through Concept, Preliminary, and Detailed Design, and support projects during construction.
- Deliver technical inputs in areas such as earthworks, roads, drainage, water, sewer, WSUD, utilities, paving, minor civil structures, and geotechnical elements.
- Contribute to both small
- and medium-sized projects, while being a key member of larger project teams. Responsibilities include design, technical documentation, cost estimation, tender submissions, project scheduling, and ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
- Take ownership of project deliverables, including meeting deadlines, monitoring budgets, managing resources, and controlling expenditure to achieve financial targets.
- Support the growth and development of Arup’s Energy, Water, and Resources Infrastructure capability in Singapore.

**Is this role right for you?**
We’re looking for someone with:

- A minimum of 5 years (post-tertiary education) of relevant industry experience in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis on designing roads, utilities, and paving elements in a consulting business environment.
- At least 3 years of experience delivering land development projects, including pre-concept, concept design, detailed design, and site phases, for clients such as Local Government Authorities and Private Developers.
- Proficiency in highway, paving, and reinstatement design; utility, drainage, and sewer works design; preparation of authority submissions; and tender and construction drawing preparation.
- A proven ability to deliver high-quality design, technical documentation, and cost estimates while meeting deadlines and budgets.
- Experience in working across a variety of projects in Energy, Water, Land Development, Rail, and Industrial sectors.
