Singapore Eco Special Waste Management Full time

**Primary Responsibilities**:
a. Lead and in charge of the daily operations of physical & chemical treatment plant and COD plant of WWTP.

b. Work with technical department to develop treatment methods of acidic, alkaline, heavy metal and other organic and inorganic chemical wastewater with lowest treatment cost and safe manner.

c. Plan and arrange the daily loose waste treatment activities and ensure the staff within the department to follow the SOP/RA strictly and safely.

d. Control, monitor, and maintain the equipment and treatment processes in wastewater treatment plants. Be responsible for the spare part inventory management and PM activities.

e. Update daily treatment records, instrument and equipment checklist.

f. To implement and maintain the equipment and storage tank cleaning schedule.

g. Assist in maintaining proper maintenance and safety integrity of plant. Ensuring all equipment is in working condition with minimum downtime and regular servicing is carried out.

h. Liaise with engineering department to ensure all designated equipment calibrations and inspections are up to date.

i. Work closely with other operation departments and lab department on waste flow and waste treatment and ensure the compliance of sewer discharge.

j. In charge of the daily inventory inspection and update of loose waste and ISO tankers assigned to WWTP and unloading management.

k. To work out and amend the treatment cost of individual chemical waste streams and share with Technical and Sales.

l. Be responsible for the trouble shooting manual update and process/equipment failure analysis, as well as staff training.

m. Assist in optimization of operation treatment, manpower allocation as well as continuous improvement on WWTP operations.

n. To lead and ensure the treated water can be reused in WWTP and other operation facilities.

o. Prepare and lead the chemical knowledge training for all staff of WWTP.

p. Adhere to all safety requirements within the plant, such as safe work practices, SOP/RA, PTW, Take 5, etc.

q. To lead and maintain good 5S activities always in the plant.

**Secondary Responsibilities**:
a. Perform other duties assigned by management which may be assigned from time to time.

b. To oversee the operational activities when the Manager and AM is absent.

**Required Qualifications**

a. Bachelor degree in chemistry or chemical engineering

b. Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a team to completion of a task

c. 5+ years of experience related to wastewater treatment plant or laboratory

**Remuneration Package**
- Basic: S$3,000 to S$3,400
- Working hours: Monday to Friday (8am to 5.45pm)
- AWS
- Performance Bonus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $3,000.00 - $3,400.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
Supplemental Pay:

- 13th month salary
