**Key Competences of a successful Retail Designer / Interior Designer**:

- Understanding retail interior design issues
- Ability to interpret and develop the retail themes, and branding ideas
- Ability to create innovative design solutions from the Conceptual Design to Design Development process, with integration & maintenance throughout the subsequent design.
- Lead in the design presentations to qualify approval from the client.
- Undertaking thorough research of both the client's needs & requirements & other similar or related projects to gain a full understanding of the design problems & parameters, & support the storytelling / narratives of design
- In-depth and up-to-date knowledge of finishing materials available in Asia
- Experience in working with material and equipment suppliers
- Ability to handle engineering co-ordination
- Fast thinking and ability to convey ideas through sketches or software
- Team player, quick learner, energetic and creative

**Requirements**:

- Degree holder in Interior Design / Architecture from recognized institution
- Demonstrated creative design & experience in Asia region’s large-scale projects
- Strong conceptual design, communication & presentation skills
- Excellent communication in spoken & written English
- Ability to work with competing deadlines, a proven capacity to manage workflow and prioritize tasks effectively
- High attention to detail
- 5-10 years of experience in retail interior projects is preferred
- Exceptional software skills in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, Photoshop & InDesign
