Job Summary

Control and management of all materials from arrival at site until handover to construction or commissioning or other parties. Lead a team of material management and movement on site including participants and erection contractor.

Role and Responsibilities
- Utilization of material handling tools including training for others as required
- Lead and control erection contactor to follow the procedure for receipt of material at site, storage and release documentation
- Ensuring the erection contractor follow the preservation procedure as specified by Equipment Supplier
- Support of handover of commissioning spares, contract spares or maintenance spares to responsible persons
- Register and record all incoming and outgoing material using the MTA
- Assess damage to material during shipment, and to provide assessment and/or damage report to Project and the Supplier
- Inspection of incoming goods and to provide prompt reporting in case of shortage and/or damage
- Responsible to manage the Material Tracking Application (MTA) tool and proper filing of delivery documents and to be made available for inspection
- Actively implement the company EHS policy in regards to material handling operation, establish necessary safety procedure, follow guidelines and local law regulations, waste management handling, and hazardous material handling precaution and procedure

Qualification:

- Bachelor Degree in Logistic and Warehouse management from a local or international university
- Essential is 6 years experience in Material Management especially with power plant equipment such turbines, generators and/or piping
- Essential to the success of this role is previous experience in power plant system and equipment especially in management and handling of warehouse, storage and preservation
- Those trained in MTA and supplier.net would be advantageous.
- Necessary EHS training (preferably recognized by NIBOSH)
