**JOB SCOPE**

***Summary of Job Responsibilities**
- You will be part of the facilities team (landscape and pest control) to assist the Manager & Senior Manager in up keeping, monitoring, and maintaining of all Landscape, Irrigation and Pest Control related maintenance to ensure that the stakeholder satisfaction and property is always kept in the highest standards & performance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible to conduct on-site routine checks (daily, weekly, quarterly, annually) to ensure and coordinate all maintenance and project works are performed in accordance with contracts and in highest standards and performance.
- Responsible and organized to ensure vendor management to perform through setting measurable performance targets and reporting strategies in conjunction with a service level agreement.
- Responsible to work with and provide precise instructions to vendors.
- Responsible to work with stakeholders or end users on all landscape, irrigation, and pest control related maintenance related feedbacks and follow up on action plan.
- Responsible and ability to work and coordinate with stakeholders, government, or non-government officials.
- Quality works are carried out based on SOPs, Guidelines, Standards, and compliance of any government regulations, WSH guidelines, safe work practices, risk assessment and industry standards.
- Responsible for any faults and defects reporting and ensure works rectification.
- Responsible for all field operations and coordination with contractors on daily work.
- Responsible to develop and establish ground maintenance strategies, maintenance solutions, processes.
- Responsible to work out source request, quotations and conduct site show round to contractors on project tendering or contract tendering.
- Responsible to improve the aesthetic appeal of the existing landscape to complement existing architecture and ensure longevity of the plants.
- Able to operate irrigation controller, replacement of leaking pipes, solenoid valves, irrigation drip lines, checking of water pressure.
- Responsible to review and conduct check of tree’s health and recommend mitigation to risk.
- Responsible to conduct site inspection with Pest control specialists on area with pest infestation and manage the pest control vendor and their activities to a high standard so as to keep the premises free of infestation.
- Responsible to manage and carry out inspection with irrigation specialists within MBS properties to ensure functionality of the systems.

**Technical Competencies**
- Ability to evaluate architectural and landscape designs from a horticultural and sustainable perspective with a view to determine the horticultural impact.
- Design layouts and develop planting designs implementation suitable for site condition with good knowledge of plant characteristics including edibles landscape.
- Knowledge and experience in health assessment of landscape including trees, use of chemicals.
- Knowledge on soil and media as well as drainage requirements in the implementation of maintenance programs and projects.
- Knowledge on tree & plants selection for landscape and recommending alternatives for unavailable and unsuitable species.
- Carrying out inspections, managing vendors and recommending solutions on landscape, trees irrigation and pest control issues.
- Knowledge and experience in assessment and pest management.
- Knowledge of pump operation & piping hydraulic, irrigation & drainage systems and equipment maintenance.
- Design and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for landscape, irrigation and pest control maintenance.

**Functional Competencies**
- Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and within the realm of the company vision, mission and values.
- Conduct regular meetings and coordinate with the maintenance contractor to resolve and improve the service level of relevant systems.
- Manage & conduct Vendor performance review & provide a report together with appropriate recommendation to the managers or management.
- Drive adherence to established safety standards and protocol for landscape, irrigation and pest control implementation and maintenance.
- Ensure that watering and irrigation systems are functioning correctly, managing controllers and irrigation times and zones and ensure that subcontractors are fulfilling the roles that are required.
- Conduct regular meetings with the landscape team, irrigation, pest control or projects related to determine any problem areas, and seek suggestions from the team. Identify potential problem areas and take remedial steps.
- Work closely and liaise with all departments & business units in property on project and maintenance coordination to minimize disruption.
