Communications Manager, Human Pharma Business Unit

**THE POSITION**
Within the function of ROPU Corporate Affairs, this role supports the Human Pharma Business in both internal and external communications, across multiple platforms and formats to drive employee and customer engagement, specifically by generating powerful, creative and relevant content in a timely manner.
This role will be instrumental in supporting the HPBU brand communication efforts, promoting and shaping content in an engaging and compelling way.
The role interacts closely with internal stakeholders, especially in the HP BUs and other Group Functions in ASKAN.
**ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Contribute to the communications team through research, writing and editing internal and external content for Human Pharma. Map out an integrated content strategy and calendar that supports and extends initiatives across audiences and channels, both short
- and long-term.
- Stays abreast of current industry standards and techniques to ensure effective content that achieves the HP BU's goals. Provide counsel on social media and digital interactions; governance for the Human Pharma communication function
- Lead media relations across ROPU ASKAN, in support of both regional and local HP business needs. Effective agency relations management and be a resource to the supporting OPU Communication Managers.
- Contribute to execute the Global Communications Strategic Agenda within ROPU ASKAN and support regional and local execution for HP across ASKAN. Contributes to ensure that regional and local campaigns and communications programs in the role's remit are in line with and support of the the Global Comms Strategic Agenda.
- Support the HP BU business in internal employee engagement, related events and communication. This includes disease planning days and activities, MyBI story contributions and related HP BU awards submissions (e.g. WTS Awards, AAI Awards, GTM)
**Job Expertise**:
- Background in corporate communications activities.
- Editorial / writing & digital channels experience.
- Knows what it takes to run an effective communication campaign with impact.
- Understands what moves employees through effective internal communications.
**Required Capabilities**:
- **Minimum Education/Degree Requirements**:Bachelor's Degree in related field
- An expert with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience who is able to achieve the objectives set and deliver results in quality, time, and budget.
- The ability to think beyond the scope of this role and to anticipate how its activities would affect others.
- Exceptional editorial and writing skills.
- A collaborator who prefers an inclusive approach over an individual approach.
- Natural curiosity
- Independent & able to execute tasks on their own
- Bold in speaking up and sharing ideas; not afraid to be challenged
