RESPONSIBILITIES- Supporting research projects with analytical support in the research hub Singapore- Analytical method development in the area of bio analytics- Operating and maintaining analytical devices in the hub- Working with local institutes for techniques not available in the research center- Be part and later also manage research projects- Develop, validate and document analytical methods- Manage and maintain the existing analytical instruments from the research hub (including initial and regular qualification)- Develop competencies in the area of bio analytics and become an expert in the field- Consult with research colleagues on analytical questions- Work with 3rd party analytical capabilities through the universities/ research institutes nearby

**REQUIREMENTS**:
- PhD in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, pharmacology or related- Practical experiences in analytical methods- Broad knowledge of analytical methods with an emphasis in chromatographic methods (GC, HPLC, IC), mass spectrometry and bio analytics (SDS Page, ELISA)- Know-how in other techniques like molecular spectroscopy (NMR, IR) is a plus- Good organizational skills required to react flexibly to varying assignments and different clients- Good communication skills required in dealing with team members, clients and colleagues from other departments and sites, and global technical experts- Ability to present results comprehensively in reports and oral presentations- Good oral and written English. Other languages are a plus.
