**The Role**:
Our business is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Business Analyst to

support the communication between our customer’s and our internal Product & Engineering teams. The Business Analyst does this by ensuring requirements are gathered effectively from the customers and relayed so to our internal teams to ensure high quality specifications are passed through for development at Contour. This is an exciting role, placed at the heart of the business internally

and facing some of the largest and most recognisable Financial Services brands Globally.

**Responsibilities**
- Working with the Product Owner you produce detailed analysis of the business requirements, gathering these from Contour’s customers across the Global Banking network
- You will be responsible for the Preparation of functional and non
- functional specifications and manage the creation of key user stories for new product features
- You will participate in requirement gathering sessions with banking organisations and other customers
- The Business Analyst acts as the first point of contact to our development team, explaining and clarifying specifications ensuring this is done in a clear and concise manner
- You will also manage core ongoing tasks to support our customers onboarded to our platform such as updating and documenting clear and concise ‘help’ documents for our customers for their support & queries

**Skills & Experience Required**
- 5 years experience within Financial Services, some of which gained within a Trade Finance (Banking or Corporate) environment
- Experience working in Product Management or Business Analysis, ideally within project building & developing financial platforms
- Working knowledge of Banking Trade products; financial supply chain, open accounts, collections, letters of credits, bank guarantees
- Previous exposure to Trade Finance Operations, this could include document checking, processing and authorisation of Trade Finance transactions, validation on daily transactions, validation on daily transactions, ensure transactions conform with LC terms & facility conditions
- You will have excellent communication skills, both written and oral and possess the ability to document and explain specifications clearly, this is a must have to ensure the success of this role
- Previous experience working with agile teams would be a distinct advantage as would any prior knowledge of database design (UML, XML and JSON API design)
