**About the Position**

The role will be the first line of the tactical intelligence function and crisis response initiative that enhances the situational awareness and operational readiness of the Global Security Operations (GSO).

SRS is currently seeking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and capable analyst to join one of its most prestigious contracts in Singapore and work in a high-performance environment that is fast-paced, and dynamic. The analyst role will require to identify and assess risks that have the potential to impact business operations. These conditions include but are not limited to political instability and social unrest, crime, terrorism, governance risks. The role also requires a broad understanding of intelligence in world affairs.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan, research, and create a range of risk assessments/situational updates/analytical reports delivering actionable insight; conduct analysis of political, security, operational, and macro-economic risk across APAC
- Display creative thinking and consulting skills to deliver on-call intelligence assessments tailored to the regional security team
- Actively threat hunt for risk events that could potentially impact the Company’s people, assets and reputation at the tactical /operational/strategic level
- with particular emphasis on indicators and warnings requiring a physical security response
- Be an effective member of a small team, focused on delivery of lean, high-impact services
- Other Duties: _
- Be aware of policy and procedures owned and changed from time to time by SRS

- Any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management

**Job Requirements**
- Advanced Degree in Political Science/ International Relations/ Strategic Studies/ Security Studies, or related major
- Regional expertise
- Demonstrated body of work regarding security issues
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Open-source intelligence and research experience are essential
- Ability to manipulate and visualise data
- Thorough appreciation of how geopolitical and security issues can affect major companies
- Excellent research skills, and ability to rapidly digest, evaluate and “sift” large quantities of information
- Analytical flair: an ability to provide rigorous, creative insight into complex situations
- Able to work in both individual and team environments
- Excellent attention to detail
- High level competency with MS Office tools
- Able to receive direct feedback and respond effectively
- Time management and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize time-sensitive issues.
- Added advantage to have a foreign language capability

- Experience working in intelligence, geopolitical or security-related disciplines
- Strong personal initiative, with ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver solutions under mínimal guidance
- Corporate experience
