**Purpose of Position**

To improve our market & competitive intelligence tracking for OCS in the APAC region & provide this intel to the OCS LT

**Major Responsibility**
- Analyze APAC competitor & market intelligence OCS-related news quickly to uncover and disseminate meaningful insights on APAC market landscape.
- Analyze the impact of new APAC market and competitive developments (e.g. new product introductions; new emerging competitors; capacity announcement etc.) affecting Corning OCS
- Support OCS Strategy Team in ad-hoc CI/MI projects.
- Support maintenance of CI/MI knowledge sharing platform and mobile app. Structure, organize and maintain CI content architecture to maximize customer experience and utility - focus APAC region content. Driving collaborative platform to build and exchange rich CI/MI insights about the APAC OCS-related market.
- Strengthen linkages between the CI Team and COC’s APAC Commercial and APAC PLM Teams to enhance CI collaboration.
- Create, maintain and disseminate APAC - competitor one-pagers & profiles. Collaborate with local teams to chronicle key events & APAC competitors’ strategies and articulate business implications.
- Monitor intelligence sources (e.g. APAC competitors’ web sites,) and assist OCS Strategy Team in compiling weekly APAC-related market & competitive intelligence communications.
- Conduct secondary market research to gather relevant information from a variety of sources and integrate into competitive and market intelligence projects.

Measured acc. to job responsibilities & execution of tasks/ projects etc.

**Education & Experience**
- Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s degree in Business Intelligence or Business Administration preferred.
- Minimum 3 year of work experience, preferably in the telecom industry.

**Required Competency (Skills, Knowledge and Abilities)**
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, in both Chinese and English
- Strong knowledge of Market Intelligence related processes.
- Structured and analytical thinker with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Sound understanding of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Quick learner; persistent, takes initiative, determined, resilient.
